September 23, 2017 - Zombie Food Drive

We are participating with the Zombie food drive in one of our neighboring neighborhoods.  Mason enjoys having makeup done & acting the part.  I did Mason makeup!

The food drive was a huge success.  However the 2 mile walk for me wasn’t as much fun while pregnant.  The zombies were walking much fast then they should have.  Someone needs to talk to them!!

While at the fabric store picking fabric to make Corbin’s baby quilt, Mason says “mommy can we make something”. Of course we can.  He picked out the emoji fabric and I showed him how to use the sewing machine and he made a travel pillow case.

July 10, 2017 - Look daddy

While at school I get the text message from a Richie.  They are at Home Depot loading stuff into the truck and trailer.  Mason says to Richie, “Daddy look I have a mustache”. I wish I could have been there to see it in person,  but I can hear it in my head as I read it.

Only a couple more weeks and I am done with school.  Yay!!!

July 3, 2017 - Walking Felicity Out

Earlier today I got a call that my niece started having labor contractions in the middle of the night, but need to help move things along and want to know if Mason and I wanted to join them on a DQ parfait with nuts and a nature walk.  We of course went.  During our nature walk Mason found a paint rock.  I am not sure if the area you live in does this paint rocks.  This rock was part of Elizabeth City Rocks.  Check them out on Facebook.  On our way back to the truck we took a different path & Mason found a second painted rock.  We will find a new spot for them.  Well at this time the nature walk doesn’t appear to worked and on our way home.

May 13, 2017 - Mother Son Sock Hop Dance

Daddy helped Mason set up a mother son dance as part of my mother’s day gift from mason.  And as you may have noticed I love any opportunity to do hair and make up.  So I found my best sock hop outfit in my closet and did up my hair and makeup.  Helped Mason with his greeser look.  Daddy helped Mason learn some 50’s dances.

They did a best 50’s dress and I’m proud to say that I won.

April 29, 2017 - Prom Hair and Makeup

I had the pleasure of doing this beautiful young lady’s hair and makeup for prom.  She had fallen off a horse just a week before and scratched up her nose.  I gave her some oils to help with the healing and when I did her makeup I was able to cover it up with out having a scab show through.

April 23, 2017 - Back Splash

life has been pretty business these last few weeks.  How ever I got a free moment and decided to put up a back splash. My kitchen is themed with edible animals, with chickens being a large part of the decor.  So I went the the hexagon white tile and dark grey gout to make it look like chicken wire.  still need to put I’d the molding to make it look like a chicken coop.
